Hello world!

I'm super happy to be sharing Explorr with everyone.

I'll be posting updates in the blog as major new features are added. But for now, I thought I'd share a bit about the platform and why I made it.

Who am I?

My name's Ben and I've been a developer now for 8+ years. Over the years, I've built a range of websites and web-apps (which I love).

But I've also got folders full of half-finished side-projects that I started and never finished. These range from simple brochure sites to experimentation with more complex technologies.

After a recent trip to Asia, I found it frustrating jumping between different platforms for flights, hotels etc. Friends I was travelling with may have booked a hotel, I may have booked some flights, and there was no way to easily share itineraries and details with friends/family.

So I thought, I can build something to help with this. Once the ball started rolling, I kept coming up with more features and ideas and that's where we are today. Plenty of features built, and even more planned.

Explorr is free to sign up to and start using. I'd massively appreciate any feedback, anything you think works particularly well or maybe what needs some TLC.
